Hi,
Im having trouble figuring out how to get fruitywifi working on Kali nethunter 3.1. With a fresh install, I ran all of the apt-get update and upgrade commands and enabled the fruity wifi service. When it auto-opened a tab in chrome, it gives the 502 bad gateway error. I then tried apt-get remove fruitywifi* and apt-get purge fruitywifi* and reinstalled using the master zip. When nginx wouldn't start, I used fuser -k 8000/tcp to kill the already used port and successfully restarted nginx and php5. Still i got a bad gateway error. Any help would be apreciated.

Hi mikeman0120, Sorry for the delay in my response. New Kali Linux and NetHunter are using PHP7 so instead of php5-fpm you need to start php7-fpm. There are a few modules that I need to update as they are not fully compatible with PHP7. A few functions from PHP5 have been deprecated.
I will update the modules as soon as possible, but starting php7-fpm instead of php5-fpm will solve your problem.
regards,
