I have a captive portal set up and was wondering if anyone has any experience with getting the browser to go straight to the portal. I've played around with it for a while but I'm a little stumped. For chrome I've read that if the traffic is constantly returning 302 responses, it will figure out that it is a captive portal but despite using DNSspoof it doesn't seem to be recognising it.
Currently, when users connect to the portal the browser doesn't recognise that it is a captive portal, and will allow them to view all the certificate errors that they like. Until they visit a page over HTTP which will show the portal.
I know it's possible, because it works at places like starbucks, but for some reason it isn't working for me.
Hi , I also have made a custom captive portal , would you mind giving me more detailed explanation on which file to edit and where to add those lines. Also where exactly to put the custom folder in nethunter fruitywifi.
I use wifi-pumpkin which is a easier to use I'm not familiar at at all with fruitywifi.
