Hi,
I was able to download and rn the script file ok, but I can not get the web page config to accept any input from me. I can adjust fields but as soon as the screen refreshes I loose any change I made. Nor can I add any modules. It seems to accept the command to install it, it shows a nice text fruit, then nothing....
I have an RPi2 running a fresh install of Raspian, with current updates, chromium and iceweasel, thats all.
I am also having issues with sudo and wondering if they are related.
This keeps coming up during boot and when trying to sudo install other apps.
sudo: /etc/sudoers.d/fruitywifi is owned by uid 1000, should be 0
I have tried to reset the privileges in etc/sudoers but can not get it to work.
Any ideas?
I also have two usb modems one with rtl8192 and the other with rtl8188eu. The EU is also powered seperately with a 5V 2A PS. Both seem to work fine in the basic Rasp/RPI configuration. Should I be using Jens version of Hostapd to work with these usb modems?
Thanks,
Rick

Hi Rick, You need to have a file called fruitywifi here: /etc/sudoers.d/fruitywifi with owner:group root:root content fruitywifi ALL=(ALL:ALL) NOPASSWD:ALL Defaults:fruitywifi loglinelen = 0 Defaults:fruitywifi logfile = /usr/share/fruitywifi/logs/sudo.log Defaults:fruitywifi log_year Defaults:fruitywifi log_host Defaults:fruitywifi syslog=auth Realtek chipsets are not supported by Hostapd, so they will not work with modes: Hostapd, Hostapd-Karma, or Hostapd-Mana please check the FAQ and the thread related with usb dongles: fruitywifi.boards.net/thread/52/faqfruitywifi.boards.net/thread/59/suported-wlan-adapterregards,
