Hey xtr4nge, I've got some problems with the modules (listed up there^^). First I wanna thank you in advance (seems like you're doing a good job in terms of support). I'm runnig fruitywifi on a rpi2 with kali2.1.2... Autostart doesn't work. You recommended adding sleep command to the rc.local, which doesn't work either (even with 20 secs delay)...so the rpi2 might be just too slow? The Mana module turns on in the config for the AP but the AP starts and Mana doesn't turn on. Any ideas how I can fix that? Last but not least: I'm having trouble with the dnsspoof and phishing module. The dnsspoof works but since I can't find instructions on the web how the files work. I wanna install a little troll (rickroll) to the phishing so everyone connects automatically to the rpi thanks to karma and then get redirected to a html file which when displayed plays the sound. I've tried to understand how the filesystem works( following these instructions: www.youtube.com/watch?v=uG9ioTTCcVU) but it seems to be a little different than how the pineapple works compared to fruitywifi. So could you explain how I could achieve that? M4d

Hi m4d, Here a few comments [ Autostart] Check that you have enabled short_open_tag in php.ini cli (/etc/php5/cli/php.ini): short_open_tag = On To test the module, run the command manually: php /usr/share/fruitywifi/www/modules/autostart/includes/FruityWifi-autostart.php [ Mana|Karma] Did you set [AP] hostapd-mana in the config page? (MENU/Config) (you need to start Mana after start the AP module) Does Karma works when you set [AP] hostapd-karma? (you need to start Karma after start the AP module) Check that the dependencies are installed correctly. To debug Karma|Mana install, you can run the install script manually from the command line. cd /usr/share/fruitywifi/www/modules/mana/includes/ ./install.sh cd /usr/share/fruitywifi/www/modules/karma/includes/ ./install.sh To debug if your wireless card is compatible with Karma and/or Mana and to verify if the dependencies are installed correctly, check this thread (I wrote a step by step test there) fruitywifi.boards.net/thread/65/rpi-kali-01-fruitywifi-issues[ Phishing-DNSspoof] DNSspoof has been deprecated, you can use FruityDNS now. To use FruityDNS, you need to install the module, and you need to setup the AP module to use FruityDNS. Go to AP module page, tab DHCP-DNS, and select FruityDNS as the DNS server. You also need to install Nginx module, as this module will be handling the webserver. Just put your index.php in /var /www/- Start [AP] module (it will automatically start FruityDNS module). - Check that you have the domains that you want to spoof (* for all domains) in FruityDNS config. - Start Nginx module. - done if you have any question let me know.

Hey,
before I asked those questions I've already checked everything that you've wrote in other threads.
Autostart works now. The sleep time was actually too low.
About Karma/Mana: I know in which order I have to activate the modules but it only works for Karma. The Wifi Stick I'm using is listed in your thread as working. I checked that even before I ordered it.
While running the mana install.sh it displayed some error about libnl ,libnl1 and libnl-dev... I don't think that debugging the wirelesscard is necessary (or is it?)
Thx alot m4d

What Linux distribution and version are you using? (Debian 8? Kali Rolling?)
If Karma works, and your already setup [AP] hostapd-mana but mana does not start, then something is wrong with the binary. You need to re-run the install.sh script and check that the patch section is compatible with your OS version. Search for this line in the install.sh script:
cmd=`lsb_release -c |grep -iEe "jessie|kali|sana"`
if you are using Kali Rolling you can install it with:
apt-get install fruitywifi-module-mana
Running the test steps that I mentioned in the other thread, will tell you if something is wrong with Mana or with the setup.

I'm using the official rpi2 kali iso (https://www.offensive-security.com/kali-linux-arm-images/). so it's from the official offensive sec site...
both commands won't work.

If you are using Kali linux, then you need to check if you are using Kali Rolling in the repository, if not, you are using an old version of Kali linux. FruityWiFi is only being updated in the repo for the latest version (Kali Rolling)
The first code section is not a command that you need to run, It is a line that you need to search in the install.sh script to then check (change) if matches your version. The command that you should run to check if the patch is being applied is:
lsb_release -c |grep -iEe "jessie|kali|sana"
If the output is empty, then the patch is not being applied. You can check the codename with:
lsb_release -c
I don't use Kali Linux on RPi, so I cannot confirm if there is any issue or not there. On RPi{1,2,3} I use (and I recommend) Raspbian.
About apt-get, if you cannot find the package fruitywifi-module-mana in the repository, then (I guess) that you are not on Kali Rolling repository. (check /etc/apt/sources.list)

Hey man,
just installed raspbian jessie lite. Reinstalled fruitywifi.
Mana AP won't start. So does Mana module itself.... There seem to be no errors in the installation. Codename Jessie ...so I guess that's right too....

Hi m4d, I just did a clean install (Raspbian v2016-05-27) and Mana is working fine. I checked with Ralink RT5370 and Atheros AR9271.
Follow this steps:
- Install FruityWiFi (GitHub) - Install API module - install AP module - install Mana module - Install Mana dependencies - Set [AP] Hostapd-Mana (config page) - Start AP module - Start Mana - Done.
I always recommend to remove or comment any wlan iface entry from /etc/network/interfaces.

Hey xtr4nge, sry that I took that long to reply, but I haven't had time to set everything up.
But everything works now. I've rewritten the code for the pineapple rickroll so I can use the original gifs for this.
Thx for the help!
